scattering seed Time, money, abilities - these things are not meant to be hoarded, but shared with everyone as they have need. This is the church scattered - into neighborhoods, workplaces and communities - "that they may see our good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16

Being a Christian church involves gathering each week to worship corporately and enjoy the company and fellowship of others. It may also include any number of activities and programs for children, youth and adults both on Sunday and throughout the week. These are valuable, if not vital, aspects of developing a relationship with the God who created you.

However, being the Christian church cannot be confined to a particular location or service time - it must be on the move. The words of Jesus from Matthew 5 are clear: Worship within our four walls must propel us out into the world with a message of hope and the gospel of peace.
